With a choice of hundreds of auction houses, brokers and merchants, there is no shortage of places from which to buy fine wine. However, when it comes to selling surplus fine wine stocks and converting them back into funds, there are very few avenues open for providing fast liquidity. Offering wine back to a local merchant or to an auction house can be quite a daunting, time consuming and usually pretty costly experience, requiring sellers to typically relinquish between 10% and 25% in commissions of the total asset sale value. Depending on prevailing market conditions, this may mean a lengthy wait to sell your wine or may result in not selling your wine at all.

We are actively committed to sourcing daily bids for wines, which means we have an advantage over the competition and can usually offer an immediate cash price, particularly if the wine is frequently traded and in moderate to high demand. Since we are not large stockholders and operate on very low overheads, we can pass the savings to you, making the prices we offer the most competitive in the market.

Bordeaux First Growths

The king of wine regions is the most traded and therefore most speculated on a daily basis by collectors, investors and merchants alike. We therefore separate the five most revered wines from Bordeaux with these being Chateau Haut-Brion, Chateau Lafite-Rothschild, Chateau Latour, Chateau Mouton-Rothschild and Chateau Margaux.

Classed Growth Bordeaux, pessac, pomerol & St. Emilion

Classed Growth Bordeaux also feature heavily from 2er to 5er Cru as well as the wines of Pessac Leognan, Pomerol and St Emilion. Whilst not every Chateau will feature on our buying list, we do have buyers for the majority of the more stellar names and therefore can offer buy prices on a large number of Chateaux across multiple vintages. Burgundy grand and 1er cru

Burgundy presents a far more bespoke approach when it comes to selling prices. Due to the small volumes produced, the market for collectors and buyers is much more niche and far smaller. As such we cannot provide a systematic approach to pricing as we do with Bordeaux. However, we are very keen Burgundy buyers and, to name a few, we continually search for growers such as Sylvain Cathiard, Coche-Dury, Arnaud Ente, Comte Georges De Vogue, Domaine de la Romanee-Conti, Dujac, Fourrier, Henri Jayer, Domaine Leflaive, Meo-Camuzet, J-F Mugnier, Domaine Ponsot, Prieure-Roch, Emmanuel Rouget, Guy Roulot, Georges Roumier and Armand Rousseau.
